Welcome to the Tropical island of Bute. Your home from home is in Rothesay Bay. This self-catering 4 double bedroom house with living room, dining area and kitchen is ideal for families or friends.

The Guest Wing is the guest wing of Tigh-na-mara one of the oldest houses in Rothesay. Tigh-na-Mara is a large detached house in its own grounds, a 10-minute walk from town, 50 steps from the beach and deer on the doorstep!

The Guest Wing has a Modern, Open Plan Kitchen, Dining area with steps leading to the Living room.
The bathroom (with shower) and One Double bedroom are also on the ground floor.
Upstairs has the second double bedroom, a twin room and a bunk room (for the young and young at heart)
Beautifully decorated throughout.

The Guest Wing has its own garden, private patio for summer evening drinks or barbeques and parking area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine.
All linen, towels, heating and hot water are included except beach towels.
No pets and No smoking (except in patio area)

Weeks run from 4pm Saturday to 10am Saturday - £400 - £500
Occasional off season weekends Friday to Monday - £250 - £325

How to get here:
Fly to Glasgow Airport, short bus (50p) or taxi (£4) ride to train station.
Train from Paisley train station on the hour from platform 2, directly to Wemyss Bay ferry terminal. This scenic journey takes 30 mins (£3.80).
Ferry to Rothesay approx every 45 min, crossing time 30 mins
Passenger ticket (£4.95 return) Car ticket (£19.05 return)

Public transport is very easy. Cars are not necessary as there is an excellent bus service and many walks and trails to be explored.
There is no car hire available on the island, but bike hire is available.
